Accessibility statement

This statement applies to the TechSerks Group Limited corporate website at techserksgroup.co.uk. It does not cover the division websites, which are separate sites with their own statements.

Our target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This site was built with that target from the start rather than retrofitted.

What we have done

  • Semantic landmarks, one logical heading per section and a skip link to the main content.
  • Everything can be operated with a keyboard, including the Divisions menu, the mobile menu and the ‘Who we help’ tabs, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Every text colour meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against the surface it sits on, and no information is conveyed by colour alone.
  • Text can be resized to 200% and the layout reflows down to 320 pixels wide without horizontal scrolling.
  • Buttons, menu items, tabs and navigation rows have touch targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels. Links inside running text and in the footer lists are spaced to meet the WCAG 2.2 minimum target size.
  • Motion is limited to short transitions and is switched off when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • Images carry descriptive alternative text, and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
  • The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking scripts. Web fonts are requested from Google Fonts. See the cookies page.

Known limitations

  • Links to the division websites lead to separate sites that this statement does not cover. Each division site is responsible for its own accessibility.
  • Logos are supplied as images; their alternative text gives the wording on the logo only.
