Privacy notice
This website has no forms, no accounts, no cookies and no analytics. The only personal data we hold because of it is what you choose to put in an email to us.
Who we are
TechSerks Group Limited is the data controller for this website. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 15859568, registered office 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. You can reach us at info@techserks.co.uk.
This notice covers techserksgroup.co.uk only. The division websites are separate sites with their own privacy notices.
What we collect through this site
Directly, nothing. There is no contact form, no newsletter sign-up, no login and no shopping basket. We do not set cookies and we do not run analytics, so we do not build any record of your visit.
Two things happen that are worth naming:
- Server logs. Like any website, the server that delivers these pages records requests, which typically includes your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser type. These logs exist for security and to keep the site running.
- Google Fonts. The site loads its three typefaces from Google Fonts. That request goes to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com, so your IP address and browser details reach Google, who act as a separate controller for that. Google publishes its own privacy information. We can remove this dependency by serving the fonts ourselves.
If you email us
Every contact route on this site is an email link. When you write to us we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you put in the message. We use it to answer you and, where your enquiry is really for one of our divisions, to pass it to the right team so they can help.
We rely on legitimate interests to read and answer enquiries, and where you are asking about work you might commission, on taking steps at your request before entering a contract. We do not use enquiry emails for marketing, and we do not sell or rent anyone's data.
We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as we need it to deal with the enquiry and to keep an ordinary business record of it, then delete it.
Who else sees it
Your enquiry may be handled by staff of TechSerks Group Limited or of the relevant division. Beyond that, the only other parties involved are the suppliers who host this website and run our email, who process data on our instructions. We do not share enquiry data with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it or erase it, ask us to restrict how we use it, object to our using it, and ask for it in a portable form. Email info@techserks.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling their helpline on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
Keeping it secure
This site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry emails are held in our business email system and access is limited to the people who need it to do the work.
Changes to this notice
If we add anything to this site that collects data, such as a contact form or analytics, we will update this notice and, where consent is required, ask for it before that feature goes live.
